Digital Service – No Physical Goods
JazzPracticePro is a digital service. You receive immediate access to the app upon subscription, and no physical goods are provided.
Refund Policy
We want you to be satisfied with JazzPracticePro. Our refund policy is as follows:
When Refunds Are Available
We offer refunds where required under Australian Consumer Law. Refunds may be granted in cases such as:
- Billing errors: You were charged in error (e.g., duplicate charges, charged after cancellation)
- Technical issues: The service is not functioning as described and we cannot resolve the issue
- Unauthorized charges: Charges were made without your authorization
- First-time subscribers: Within 14 days of your first subscription payment if you are not satisfied with the service
How to Request a Refund
If you believe you are eligible for a refund:
- Contact us at contact@jazzpracticepro.com
- Include your account email address and reason for the refund request
- Submit your request within 14 days of the charge
- We will review your request and respond within 3-5 business days
Note: Refund requests submitted more than 14 days after the charge may be denied unless there are exceptional circumstances.
Refund Processing
If your refund is approved:
- Refunds are processed through Stripe, our payment processor
- Refunds typically appear in your account within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank
- You will receive an email confirmation when the refund is processed
- Your subscription will be cancelled immediately upon refund
When Refunds Are Not Available
Refunds are generally not provided for:
- Change of mind after using the service beyond the 14-day period
- Partial refunds for unused portions of monthly or annual subscriptions
- AI credits that have already been used
- Subscriptions cancelled mid-billing period (access continues until period end)
Cancellation Policy
You can cancel your subscription at any time. There are no cancellation fees or penalties.
How to Cancel
You have two options to cancel your JazzPracticePro subscription:
Option 1: Cancel Through the App
- Log in to your JazzPracticePro account
- Go to Settings → Account → Subscription
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
- Confirm your cancellation
Option 2: Cancel by Email
Send an email to contact@jazzpracticepro.com with:
- Subject line: "Cancel Subscription"
- Your account email address
- We will process your cancellation within 1 business day
What Happens When You Cancel
- ✓ Continued access: You will keep access to JazzPracticePro premium features until the end of your current billing period.
- ✓ No future charges: You will not be charged for any future billing periods.
- ✓ Data retention: Your practice data remains accessible in the free tier of the app.
- ✓ Resubscribe anytime: You can reactivate your subscription at any time in the future.
Cancellation Timing
To avoid being charged for the next billing period:
- Monthly subscriptions: Cancel at least 24 hours before your next billing date
- Annual subscriptions: Cancel at least 7 days before your renewal date
Tip: You can check your next billing date in your account settings under Subscription details.
Free Tier After Cancellation
When your premium subscription ends, your account automatically reverts to the free tier, which includes:
- Full practice tracking and logging
- Repertoire management
- Basic statistics
- Limited AI credits (monthly allocation)
- All your existing practice data
You can continue using JazzPracticePro for free indefinitely, with access to all core features.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this refund policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Under the ACL, you are entitled to:
- Services that are provided with acceptable care and skill
- Services that are fit for the purpose we said they would be fit for
- Services delivered within a reasonable time
If we fail to meet these guarantees, you may be entitled to a remedy under the ACL.
